LinkedIn Premium is the paid version of the popular professional social networking site LinkedIn. It offers a number of additional features, such as advanced search, additional analytics tools, and the ability to view profiles without restrictions. However, not all users may need this on an ongoing basis. If you decide to cancel your paid subscription, follow our instructions for canceling LinkedIn Premium.
1. Login to your account
Before you unsubscribe, make sure you are signed in to your LinkedIn account.
2. Go to Settings & Privacy
On the main page, in the top menu, click on your avatar or small profile icon and select “Settings and privacy” from the drop-down menu.
3. Select the «Credentials» section
In the left menu, find and select the «Credentials» section.
4. Cancel your subscription
Scroll to the Paid Services section where you will see information about your current LinkedIn Premium subscription. Click on «Edit» next to your subscription information. Then follow the onscreen instructions to cancel your subscription.
5. Cancellation confirmation
Once you have completed all the steps, the system will ask you to confirm your decision to cancel your subscription. Click «Confirm» or a similar button.
Important things to consider:
- Canceling a subscription stops future payments, but does not provide a refund for the current paid period. This means that you will continue to use premium features until the end of the paid period.
- If you purchased your subscription through a mobile app (such as the App Store or Google Play), you should cancel your subscription through the applicable app store as they may have their own cancellation procedures.
